Snoop Dogg’s First Hip Hop All Star Game

Snoop Dogg’s official first Hip Hop All Star game is set to take place February 16, 2018 in Los Angeles during the NBA All Star weekend. The game will be cohosted by 2 Chainz in coordination with Adidas. In addition, some of the music industry’s top rappers will head to the court creating two ultimate rosters. Snoop and 2 Chainz officially finalized their team rosters this past Saturday (Feb. 10), consisting of ten members each. On Sunday, the Atlanta rapper and West Coast legend announced their All Star teams via Instagram.

During the two-day event, fans will be able to see some of their favorite artist such as The Migos’ Quavo, French Montana and Chris Brown hit the court.

Specifically, team Snoop Dogg will include David Banner, Chris Brown and K Camp. Current Battle Rapper and Wild’Out Star, Hitman Holla, will also act as another notable force for team Snoop. Hitman Holla previously played college basketball at the University of Missouri- St. Louis and later played professional basketball in Spain.

As for team 2 Chainz, Quavo, French Montana, and Fabolous are some of the prominent rappers participating on the All Star team. After breaking his leg last summer, 2 Chainz has been working hard at rehabbing his leg to perform at his peak performance for the game. He has been keep fans up to date of his progress on Instagram. The trap rapper has been Drew Hanlen the CEO of Pure Sweat and NBA Strategic Coach. Hanlen list of clients includes NBA players Bradley Beal, Dwight Howard, Andrew Wiggins and many more. Wale will also be a major force to watch on the court. Wale played in the NBA Celebrity All-Star game in 2014 and he previously played Division one football at Robert Morris University and Virginia State University.

Other artists such as Dave East, Problem and many more will participate in the game. Conversely, two female rappers have been recruited for the All Star game. MC Young M.A. will play for team 2 Chainz and Kamaiyah will play for team Snoop.
