Rich The Kid’s first release in the year of 2015 was a collaborative mixtape Still On Lock with Migos, that was released during the Migos 2015 incarceration. Then on August 31, 2015, Rich The Kid released his first solo project in eight months Flexin’ On Purpose. The 14-track project featured collaborations between Rich The Kid and artists like Fetty Wap, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan and Young Dolph. In October 2016 with both Quavo and Takeoff (2/3 of Migos) out of prison, a fifth Rich The Kid/Migos tape was composed. Streets On Lock 4 was released on October 22, 2016 and contained 27 tracks in whole. After this in November 2016, Rich The Kid announced three solo mixtapes he intended to release in the future, Trap Talk, Rich Than Famous II and Dabbin’ Fever. Two of these have been released so far, the first of which was delayed from its intended release on November 24 as his collaborative project with iLoveMakonnen was completed. Rich The Kid & iLoveMakonnen released Whip It on November 26, 2016, it contained features from Rome Fortune and Migos among others. The next month Dabbin’ Fever was released on Christmas Eve (December 24, 2015) with features from Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, Migos and more. In early 2016, Rich The Kid began signing artists to his label Rich Forever Music, starting with Famous Dex and later on J $tash. They released their first mixtape as a group on April 4, 2016 Two weeks later, Rich The Kid released his Trap Talk mixtape, it contained collaborations with Harry Fraud, Danny Wolf and PARTYNEXTDOOR. Months later, Trap Talk would become the first project from Rich The Kid to be released on digital retailers and streaming services. Rich Forever Music currently plans on releasing their second project “Rich Forever 2” on July 4, 2016.
Rich Forever Music was established back in 2013, and since Rich The Kid has released every single one of his projects under Rich Forever. It wasn’t until 2016 when Rich The Kid started signing artists to Rich Forever, Famous Dex and eventually J $tash. In June 2016 Rich The Kid signed a deal for Rich Forever with 300 Entertainment for 300 to become a parent company for Rich Forever.
The Label has released solo projects for all of the artists they have signed, in addition to group projects the roster released in collaboration.
